Had a bad day and thought I'll share why you don't have a warrant 30mins before end of the week.   The last couple years My poor Celica has traveled next to nowhere. In the last 6months since it's last WOF It'll traveled about 60kms.   Celica failed it's WOF today because:   Front lights not in focus Seatbelts don't tighten fast enough Rear seat belts aren't fastened hard enough Both rear struts don't have enough thread at the top mounts. Installed 2-3 years ago (traveled about 400km if that and certified) Exhaust is to loud Not allowed my musical Air Horn Nail in rear 18" tire   I was pretty pissed so to say after these guys have done the warrant every time since the Celica has the upgrades for the last 2-3 years.     My recommendation never take your car for a warrant at 4.30pm on a Friday.   Mark NZ

LOL Front lights not in focus - had that, new bulb sorted it out Seatbelts don't tighten fast enough - had to demonstrate the chopping action required to make them work
Rear seat belts aren't fastened hard enough - had a bit of sucking through teeth about the legality of lap belts Both rear struts etc. - didn't get a mention at last test even though the wobbly-o-meter went off the scale Not allowed my musical Air Horn - Haven't heard one of those in years :) what tune you playing?

Wow another kiwi. Where was it? VTNZ?

I always go to VTNZ, my driving lights are badly out of alignment but the first time they said to disconnect them and it'd be ok. Since then they pass me every time, but tell me for next time I'll have to remove them...

The last WOF was the first it passed first go since I bought it in '02. When I expressed joy, the tester asked me what he'd missed :)

Yeah I try to avoid WOFs at times when they're likely to be grumpy...
