Replaced my cylinder head over the weekend, now the truck won't start. Everything is hooked up correctly and all I get now is a type of spinning sound when a turn the key. Doesn't even sound like it's trying to turn over.

I'm thinking it my be way out of time, but not sure.

What do I do? Can't stand not having my ride!

HELP!!!!

did you adjust the valves?
if they arent closing all the way then you will have no compression , the motor will turn over very easily and that would explain the spinning sound. also without the compression you will get no combustion.
it is also possible to put your distributor in 180 degrees out . but usually it will pop and spit not just turn and turn

Is it fuel injected or carbureted? You need to describe the truck when you ask a question so we know what you have. Is it getting fuel? If you're timing was off, you'd know it.

you probably put the timing belt on wrong, double check your timing gear marks.

Yes, post a better description of the truck so in turn we will be able to give you better advice.
