gday again having major problems with the starting process in my hilux a bought a new battery because i had to be jump started every morning and still the same problem except i get jumped in the morning now and then it starts in the afternoon after work wich it sits there for 8 hours not being touched. so im thinking its either the alternator or the glow plugs does anyone have any idea on what i can do because its driven me mad.

Check for some type of electrical drain. I have had an alternator go bad and drain the battery overnight.

My bet would be on the glow plugs. It's usually those that are at fault when the car won't start in the cold.
