Would it be tacky to paint my car red and have some sort of art work on the trunk of my car. My friend is really good with that kind of stuff and he wants to make my trunk look like a sunset. Would this look tacky? I'm not into tacky but the idea doesn't sound bad. I just don't want him to do all the work and then me decide that I don't like it.

Yeah it would, but to each his own. It's your car and you can do whatever you want to it.

I don't think I would do it either. Maybe if he showed you a picture of another car that was painted that way. Or even did it on the computer to show you what it would look like, but I wouldn't do it.

If it is done good than go for it. I don't think it will look tacky as long as he does a good job on it.

The rest of your car have to look good too.

If the exterior already needs a new paint job than I might not do it.
