Have anyone bought aftermarket HID light kits for their Tacos? Please if you haved I need some info on what to look for, I seen some on ebay real cheap, and some more expensive. What type of model should i look for, i also want a kit for the fog lights. If anyone have the real blue ones, the good ones please let me know where to find them for an 08 Taco. Thank you always for your superb cooperation.

When you buy the HID kit, you should look into the HI/Lo Bi-Xenon HID product.
There is two type.
1 is there is a piece of metal on the HID bulb, when u use the hi beam, the metal plate shift close and make the light reflect a bit high.
2 is there is a motor inside the bulb, when u use high beam, the bulb itself will tilt up make it look like a high beam.

I have the type 2 on my ford explorer, it doing good for 3 years. I also have type 1 on my 08 Tacomma, it look great, both work for me, but it is really depand what you like.

Also look on the bulb temp I have a 6000K on my Tacoma, it is bright....... i will not suggest you get any brighter than that.

Thank you Wings, does that HID kit has a number for the Tacoma, i would like the dual one for both low and hign beams, also did you get one for the fog lights, if you did what is the model number, thank you for your response.
