We will be picking up our new 08 on Saturday. I asked the salesman about the XM but he really could not tell me anything. What do I need to do for XM? It has the JBL stereo that says its XM capable.

Personally, I would go with the Sirius instead. I have the same JBL 6 disk sat ready radio in my new Rav4 and I had Sirius hooked up directly to it the other day. My steering wheel buttons all still work great with it as well. I say ditch the XM and go the sirius route. It is WAY better.

Maybe its better, matter of personal opinion, howerver, I already have two subs for XM running now. Lot cheaper to add another sub than a new one to Sirius.

Very true. I have 2 sirius radios on the same subscription. I assume there is a direct connect like the sirius ones. I would contact your local car audio store and ask them if there is a device that can be wired directly to the back of yout JBL reciever. I had the docking system in my other vehicle... nice but too many wires showing. Having a direct connect hidden with no wires showing is really nice.
